Earth Day event will offer the chance to learn about “electrifying everything”

Alan Anderson is a Minnesota native who works now in public education around climate change. He will be giving a talk on Earth Day, Apr. 20, as part of the ISD 166 Earth Day events schedule. His presentation, “The Benefits of Electrifying Everything,” will focus on increasing reliance on electricity, instead of fossil fuels.

Anderson referred to the Inflation Reduction Act as a major climate bill, citing the support within the legislation for individuals to transition to electric energy in their homes. He said that during his presentation he will share information on how people can access that support, and there will be a Q&A section after his presentation.

WTIP’s CJ Heithoff spoke with Alan Anderson about the presentation he will give about electrifying homes on Apr. 20 as part of the ISD 166 Earth Day event. Audio is below.
