The Cook County Board of Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Room.
Ruby’s Pantry of Cook County will hold its food distribution on the second Tuesday of the month, from 5 to 6:30 pm at Great Expectations School. Anyone with questions or an interest in volunteering can email rubys@boreal.org.
Pete Kavanaugh and Friends host Open Stage at Up Yonder every Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm.

The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall. Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics. The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.
Northern Lotus Meditation takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm, with instruction in meditation and room manners at 6:45 pm, at Two Birds Healing Arts Center in Grand Marais.
Care Partners of Cook County hosts a reframe aging monthly roundtable on the third Monday of each month from 12:15 to 1:45 pm at The Hub. A specially-selected book of the month serves as a springboard for the discussion. More information is available at carepartnersofcookcounty.org.
Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
