More Events: Visit Cook County
A Turkish Carpet Show will take place on Sunday, March 2 at 2 pm at the Cook County Community Center. Fatih, a carpet dealer from Turkey is here with hundreds of carpets from his family’s collection and will teach everyone about the many different types of carpets. All are welcome.
Bone Builders is a group exercise weight training program that was created for adults who are interested in preventing and reducing osteoporosis. Bone Builders meets at the Lutsen Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am.
Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is available on Tuesdays at the Cook County Community Center from 9 am to 3 pm. This program offers tax help to seniors and people of low to moderate income. No appointment is needed. First come, first served.

Cook County Higher Education is hosting a Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Support Meeting on Tuesday, March 4 from 5:30-6:30 pm at CCHE. This welcoming space allows individuals with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes to share experiences, exchange tips, and connect with others for support and encouragement. Mike Flack is leading the group. Registration is requested but walk-ins are welcome. More information is available at myCCHE.org/events.
Lutsen Yoga takes place on Tuesdays from 6 to 6:45 at the Town Hall. All ages and abilities are welcome. 10 mats are available for use on a first come first served basis.
There is no class on the third Tuesday of the month due to the township meetings.
