Gallery Exhibit: Northwoods Fiber Guild presents, "From Our Hearts and Hands"
The Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery is showing “From Our Hearts and Hands,” a gallery exhibit featuring the diverse work of over 40 makers, highlighting a variety of fiber techniques from the North Woods Fiber Guild. The exhibit continues through February 22. Winter hours are in effect, and the most up-to-date gallery hours can be found on the JHP website.
Community Mindfulness Nights
Community Mindfulness Nights are held on the last Monday of each month at Two Birds Healing Arts Center. February 23 will be Partner Thai Massage with Mel and Peter from 6 to 7:30 pm.
Grief Group
Care Partners of Cook County is hosting a grief group on the second and fourth Mondays from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Johnson Heritage Post. Gatherings are facilitated by Care Partners staff. No pre-registration is required. More information is available at carepartnersofcookcounty.org.
Grand Marais Al-Anon Meetings
Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
The Cook County Board of Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Room.
