6th Annual Apple Festival
The 6th annual Grand Marais Apple Festival will be held from Thursday, October 17 to Saturday, October 19.
Taste the latest apple varieties from the U of MN on Thursday, October 17 from 5 to 6:30 pm at The Hub.
Apple cider pressing demonstrations will occur at North House Folk School on Friday, October 18 from 4 to 7 pm.
Visit or pick your own apples at 2 orchards in town on Saturday, October 19 from 10 am to 4 pm. At Ray Block’s orchard (36 E. Rosebush Lane) or at Stan Bautch’s (1315 E. Highway 61).
Apple Festival events are sponsored and organized by Carolyn Dry’s “Johnny Appleseed Project”.
