Historic Cook County is hosting a volunteer event to help get the Bally Blacksmith Shop ready to open for the summer on Saturday, April 18, from 10 am to noon. Volunteers are needed to help match historic objects to their descriptions and give the shop a thorough seasonal sprucing.
