Cook County proposed cannabis ordinance town hall

The Cook County Cannabis Regulation Committee has arranged for two Town Hall public hearings to discuss the proposed Cook County Ordinance 66. The ordinance is to regulate cannabis businesses and underage cannabis possession. Community members are invited to attend and voice their opinions. The town halls will take place on Monday, August 5 at 5 pm at the Colvill Townhall, and on Monday, August 12 at 4:30 pm at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts.
The Board of Commissioners will also hold two public hearings on Tuesday, August 6 in the commissioner’s board at the Cook County Courthouse at 1 pm and 4 pm.
