Creative Writing Workshop “Writing as Listening”

Diver Van Avery will lead a tour around Sugarloaf Cove and offer writing prompts to help people practice writing as an act of opening up, receiving, and connecting to the surrounding elements. The creative writing workshop will take place on Sunday, August 18 from 1 to 3 pm.
Participants will find a location that speaks to them and draft an essay, a short story, or poem. There will be time to share their works-in-progress if desired.
