Election day and Ruby’s Pantry at the Community Center

On Tuesday, August 13 the Cook County Community Center will be used as a polling place for the Grand Marais West Precinct and a Ruby’s Pantry food distribution.
Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. Voters should enter the Community Center parking lot using the 4th Avenue / Creechville Road entrance between 1 and 6:30 pm.
Ruby’s Pantry will be open for food pickups from 5 to 6:30 pm. Ruby’s patrons will enter and exit the Community Center through the 5th Street entrance, across from 3rd Ave West. The waiting line will form on the north side of 5th Street / County Road 7, east of 3rd Ave.
Parking in the Community Center lot for the skate park and playground will be limited from 1 to 6:30 pm. Questions can be sent to rubys@boreal.org or the Cook County Auditor’s office.
