The Grand Marais Public Library hosts a screening of The Dance is Not Over, a feature-length documentary by Minnesota filmmaker Mark Wojahn, presented by Minnesota dancer, choreographer, activist, and performance artist Patrick Scully on Friday, June 12, at 5:30 pm. The film explores Scully’s nearly 50-year career in dance, queer performance, activism, and community arts, including his founding of Patrick’s Cabaret and his decades-long commitment to bringing queer art and dialogue to both urban and rural communities. Following the screening, attendees will have an opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussion with Patrick Scully.
