Gitchi-Gami State Trail Habitat Restoration Volunteer Event

The Gitchi-Gami Trail Association (GGTA) is hosting a habitat restoration volunteer event on Tuesday, June 25 from 10 to 11:30 am. Volunteers are needed to help the GGTA, DNR, and Minnesota Conservation Corps members plant native seeds along the Gitchi-Gami State Trail corridor near the Fall River Bridge.  Work will be near Memory Lane between the Cemetery and the Fall River Bridge, just outside of Grand Marais.

Parking will be on the Highway 61 road shoulders. Bring a rake or shovel if you have one, and work gloves.  More information is available on the Facebook event page or from Michelle from the GGTA at mpierson@ardc.org.
