Submit Nominations for the Joan Drury Award
The Violence Prevention Center is currently accepting nominations for the Joan Drury Award. This award is named in honor of the late Joan Drury, who was a local resident, a fierce advocate for feminism, justice, and equity for women, girls, & LGBTQ2IA+ individuals, and a longtime friend and supporter of the VPC.
The Joan Drury Award recognizes one community member and one business each year who exemplify a commitment to creating a peaceful and just community that fosters healthy relationships and does not tolerate violence. Nominations can be made online at violencepreventioncenter.org and must be submitted by July 1st.
