Filing windows have officially closed for all 2024 local races

The filing windows have closed for ISD 166 school board, the North Shore Health hospital board, and Grand Marais City Council. The special filing period for County Board of Commissioners District 4 has also ended. Find a complete list below for who has filed for each seat.

School board

District 2: Carrie Jansen

District 4: no filings

Hospital board

Member 2: Douglas Sanders, Milan Schmidt

Member 4: Sam Usem, Kathryn Olson (incumbent)

City Council

Mayor: Tracy Benson

City Council seats (2): Michael Garry and Craig Schulte

Special Election for Council member: William Lovaas

County Commissioner

District 4: Ann Sullivan (incumbent), Dean Berglund
