It’s Cook County High School Homecoming week!
It’s Homecoming week for Cook County High School! On Monday Sept. 30, the homecoming court was named at a “pep fest.” Congratulations to Queen Molly Quello and King Jordan Backstrom, who were crowned during the event.
In addition to crowning the homecoming king and queen, the pep fest also included music provided by the pep band, and games. To wrap up the homecoming week, there are a few athletic events. The Varsity Girls Volleyball team will take on Fond du Lac Ojibwe School at 6:30 p.m. on October 3. The JV game will take place right before it. The Vikings football team will face off against Cass Lake-Bena on Friday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.
The football game will be followed by a dance. Good luck to all of the Cook County athletes competing this week, and happy homecoming to students, alumni, and school staff!
