North Shore Storm cross-country boys team competing at state meet Saturday

The North Shore Storm boys cross-country team will compete in the Minnesota High School State Meet on Saturday, Nov. 1. The meet will be held at the University of Minnesota Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. The boys’ team will compete in the Single A State Meet, which begins at 10 a.m.

On Friday morning, a celebratory “send off” walk was held at Cook County Schools for the boys cross-country team as they prepared to leave for the state race. The pepband played in the main entrance and the kids lined the hallways as the cross country team members walked through.

Cook County Schools Teacher Mr. McHugh spoke with Cross-County Head Coach April Wahlstrom about the cross-country season and the upcoming state meet on Nov. 1. The audio is below.
