Power outage Monday night on Cook County’s east end

There is a power outage on the east end of Cook County Monday night, officials from Arrowhead Electric confirmed with WTIP.

The power outage is impacting properties from Hovland to Grand Portage, including sections of the Arrowhead Trail.

The outage occurred after a power line was struck near the east end of the North Road, according to Arrowhead officials.

The outage is expected to last until approximately 9 p.m.

Crews from Arrowhead Electric are on site and are working to restore power.
