Senator Grant Hauschild aims to build on momentum during 2025 legislative session

The Minnesota legislative session will convene on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025.

With under a month away, WTIP spoke with Senator Grant Hauschild about his priorities for the upcoming legislative session.

In the previous legislative session, Cook County secured $3 million in state funding for various initiatives.

“We have to keep growing on the success,” Hauschild said. “And I think we’ll get there.”

Hauschild said his focus will be housing, childcare, and rural EMS services, among other things.
