The Original WTIPeople

Community radio in Cook County began in the early 1990s with a small group of volunteers around a kitchen table who believed local radio could build a shared sense of community.

In this special program from Thursday, October 15, hear from some of the people who made it happen: Deb Benedict, Cathy Quinn, Buck Benson, Mike Raymond, Jay Andersen, Peter Igoe, Roger Linehan, Don Hammer, and CJ Heithoff.
