MPR reporter talks with WTIP about reporting on a global pandemic

Minnesota Public Radio Senior Reporter Catharine Richert has been covering the COVID-19 pandemic for more than a year. Her reporting on the coronavirus pandemic is not only important, but considered to be some of the best in the field among her peers in journalism and residents in Minnesota and beyond.

A recent story Richert reported one year into the COVID pandemic caught the attention of WTIP’s News Director Joe Friedrichs.

Friedrichs spoke with Richert about reporting on COVID in the world of public radio and in the state of Minnesota.
