As graduation nears, Cook County Seniors reflect on their high school years

Saturday marks a significant milestone for the seniors of Cook County High School as students don their caps and gowns to celebrate graduation.

As the school year comes to a close for the senior class, several graduating seniors shared their thoughts with WTIP on what they’ll miss about high school, lessons they’ve learned, what lies ahead for the future, and advice to fellow high schoolers. Audio from each of the students is below.

The commencement ceremony will start Saturday, May 23, at 1 p.m. in the Pam Taylor Gymnasium. Following the ceremony, there will be a parade of graduates through town and ending at Artist’s Point.
