Ice Climbing on the North Shore of Lake Superior

In far northeastern Minnesota up a canyon flowing into Lake Superior hides a flow of water that freezes for half the year. This picturesque ice flow is only accessible vie foot travel up the frozen river and is named Nightfall, due to the climber who gets too late a start will end up finishing in the dark when winter days are at their shortest. Local residents, Shane Steele and Emma Spoone, seen in this video are regular climbers to anywhere they can travel after work or on the weekends.
