John and Peter Wood’s Cross Country Bike Adventure
In early July, recently retired physician John Wood and his son Peter left the Oregon coast on a special tandem bicycle heading to New York City so Peter could see the Statue of Liberty. This once-in-a-lifetime experience has been full of adventure, challenges, and quality bonding time for this father and son.
WTIP caught up with them in Western Ohio where they’d paused on a country road surrounded by fields of soybeans for this phone interview.
