WTIP’s One Small Step 2024 Wrap-up

WTIP worked with a group of student interns over the summer and fall of 2024 on One Small Step–a StoryCorps initiative designed to foster conversations between people with different ideological and political views. The group worked with Project Coordinator Barbara Jean Meyers and ISD166 Media Arts teacher Michael McHugh to customize the One Small Step program so it was a better fit for high school students, who most often don’t clearly identify with a political party. What they discovered could be a great learning opportunity for everyone, regardless of age.
In this final project wrap-up, Barbara Jean touches on some of the lessons learned and shares some major takeaways.
