Contact tracing of COVID-19 proving effective in Cook County

There were no additional cases of COVID-19 on Saturday or Sunday over the weekend in Cook County. However, the county had four new cases in less than two weeks to start the month of August.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Cook County Public Health Supervisor Grace Grinager this morning (August 17) to find out how the process of contact tracing is going in Cook County following the recent uptick in positive cases of the new coronavirus in the community.
