Nature Presentation Interactions at Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center

Weekly nature presentations are held on the front porch of Chik-Wauk Museum (in case of inclement weather, the presentations will be held indoors at the Nature Center) on Mondays at 1 pm. All are welcome.

Community Mindfulness Night

Community Mindfulness Nights are held on the last Monday of every month from 6 to 7:30 pm at Two Birds Healing Arts Center. It is a safe place for those worried about the world and in need of self-care.

Full Moon Poetry

Drury Lane Books hosts a Full Moon Poetry event from 6 to 8 pm. This is an open community bonfire where all are encouraged to share a favorite piece of prose or literature. Meet just behind the shop on the beach side. More information is available at drurylanebooks.com.

Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.

North Shore Women Veterans Support & Connection Group

Cook County Higher Education is hosting North Shore Women Veterans Support & Connection Group on Tuesday, June 30, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Cook County Veterans Services Officer Karen Christianson will facilitate a supportive and welcoming space where women veterans can connect, share their experiences, and build lasting community. Connecting Caregivers

Care Partners is offering a new opportunity for caregivers to gather for casual conversation and mutual encouragement. This monthly meeting is open to anyone who is caring for an older friend or family member, and offers a chance to visit with others who share the caregiving journey. Led by Care Partners volunteers Kathy Reeves and Kay Costello, the group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 1 pm at The Hub. Grand Marais City Council Meeting

The Grand Marais City Council meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall. More information at ci.grand-marais.mn.us.

Cook County West End Alanon

The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall.  Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics.  The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.
