Pete Kavanaugh and Friends host Open Stage at Up Yonder every Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm.
Precinct Caucuses
Local precinct caucuses are scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, at 7 pm. The Democratic-Farmer Labor Party has three locations: East End (Grand Portage, Magney, Hovland, Colville) at the Hovland Town Hall, West End (Lutsen, Tofte, Schroeder) at Birch Grove Community School, and everyone else (Croftville, Grand Marais East, Grand Marais West, Maple Hill, Pike Lake, Cascade, and Gunflint) at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts. The Republican Party will meet at The Hub.

Connecting Caregivers
Care Partners is offering a new opportunity for caregivers to gather for casual conversation and mutual encouragement. This monthly meeting is open to anyone who is caring for an older friend or family member, and offers a chance to visit with others who share the caregiving journey. Led by Care Partners volunteers Kathy Reeves and Kay Costello, the group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 1 pm at The Hub. Cook County West End Alanon
The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall. Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics. The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.
Northern Lotus Meditation
Northern Lotus Meditation takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm, with instruction in meditation and room manners at 6:45 pm, at Two Birds Healing Arts Center in Grand Marais.
