Veterans eat free in November

During November, Veterans can eat free at The Hub.  The cost of meals is covered by the American Legion Auxiliary Post 413. Contact The Hub to reserve a lunch each day by 9:30 am at (218) 387-2660.

Oh Ole Night Parade & Fireworks

The Oh Ole Night parade and fireworks will be held on Friday, November 28, in Grand Marais. The parade starts at 5:30 pm from The Hub parking lot, making two loops along Broadway, up Wisconsin Street, turning at 1st Ave, and back around to Broadway. The second loop will end up at Harbor Park for the Tree Lighting ceremony and fireworks.

At 7 pm, tune in to WTIP’s special one-hour program, Oh Ole Night: The Radio Special.

Hovland Winter Art Show

The Hovland Winter Art Show will be held on Saturday, November 29, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Hovland Town Hall.

Art Exhibit: The 14th Annual Spirit of the Wilderness Episcopal Church Community Art Show "Transitions: Navigating Change”

The Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery is hosting the 14th Annual Spirit of the Wilderness Episcopal Church Community Art Show, themed “Transitions: Navigating Change.”  The exhibit runs through Sunday, November 30. Bone Builders

Bone Builders is a group exercise weight training program that was created for adults who are interested in preventing and reducing osteoporosis. Bone Builders meets at the Lutsen Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am.

Grand Marais Al-Anon Meetings

Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.

Open Curling

Connecting Caregivers

Care Partners is offering a new opportunity for caregivers to gather for casual conversation and mutual encouragement. This monthly meeting is open to anyone who is caring for an older friend or family member, and offers a chance to visit with others who share the caregiving journey. Led by Care Partners volunteers Kathy Reeves and Kay Costello, the group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 1 pm at The Hub.
