Bone Builders is a group exercise weight training program that was created for adults who are interested in preventing and reducing osteoporosis. Bone Builders meets at the Lutsen Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am.
Cook County Higher Education is offering Stick Welding 101 as a 1 1-day class on Monday, April 21, from 9 am-5 pm at the ISD 166 Industrial Tech Room. This introductory course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), commonly known as stick welding.

Safe Together: Empowering Peaceful Responses Youth Workshop will be held on Monday, April 21, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Cook County Community Center. The workshop is only available for youth to participate in, but interested adults are welcome to sign up to assist and be in the space to learn from the material presented.
The training is part of the Rural MN Community Safety Project, a collaboration between Northspan, Cook County Public Health and Human Services, Cook County Higher Education, and Cook County MN Restorative Justice.

The Cook County Board of Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Room.
A threat assessment workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 22, from 11 am to 1 pm at Cook County Higher Education. The workshop will introduce participants to a layered framework that encourages a proactive approach to community safety and mutual protection.

Lutsen Yoga takes place on Tuesdays from 6 to 6:45 at the Town Hall. All ages and abilities are welcome. 10 mats are available for use on a first come first served basis.
There is no class on the third Tuesday of the month due to the township meetings.

Second Harvest Northland’s Mobile Food Pantry Program will be in Cook County on the fourth Wednesday of each month, at the Grand Portage Community Center from 11:30 am to noon and at the Cook County Community Center from 1:30 to 2 pm.
