Opening Day at the Cook County Historical Society History Museum is on Friday, May 23, from 10 am to 4 pm. There are a variety of exhibits exploring local history, including the Civilian Conservation Corps era, maritime heritage, early homesteading on the North Shore, wartime experiences, and more.
