New owners take over at Big Bear Lodge on the Gunflint Trail

There are new owners at Big Bear Lodge on the Gunflint Trail.

The new owners are Chris and Allison Short. Their golden retriever, Clarence, is also part of the new ownership team. Former owners Andy and Ida DeLisi sold the resort this fall.

The lodge is located on Poplar Lake in the Mid-Trail area. Along with keeping the resort running, the new owners re-opened a restaurant at Big Bear. They are serving breakfast pizzas and traditional, homemade pizzas for lunch and dinner.
