Bike for Freedom Trek Reaches Canadian Border
Lindsey Yoder was inspired to do something to stop human trafficking after seeing movie about it on her 14th birthday. Last summer, she walked from her home in Arthur, Illinois to Nashville, Tennessee to raise awareness of the human trafficking problem and to raise money for Hope for Justice.
But, she wasn’t done yet. In April 2018, 15-year-old Lindsey; her 17-year-old sister, Krista; 13-year-old brother, Kyle; 13-year-old cousin, Jackson; and mother, Regina set out to ride bicycles from Mexico to Canada.
They completed Bike for Freedom on May 16th crossing the border into Ontario after stopping by the WTIP studios.
Here’s a video they made to commemorate their arrival.
