Community Conversations – The Boundary Waters

The U.S. Senate is expected to vote this week on House Joint Resolution 140, which would use the Congressional Review Act to overturn a public land order issued by the Biden administration.

The debate centers on a proposed mining project from Twin Metals Minnesota, a subsidiary of Chilean mining conglomerate Antofagasta.

In anticipation of the upcoming vote, WTIP has produced a one-hour program featuring our Boundary Waters coverage from the past year — including conversations with environmental and mining advocates, business owners, elected officials and people who love the wilderness.
