The Good Harbor Hill Players present the Summer Solstice Pageant on Saturday, June 20, at 8 pm at North House Folk School in Grand Marais. Featuring giant puppets, stilt-walkers, live music, and storytelling under the open sky. The community-driven event is made possible by volunteers and local support.
Chik-Wauk Nature Center hosts a presentation with author Cary J. Griffith on Sunday, June 21, at 2 pm. Cary will talk about Gunflint Falling and his newest book, Girzzly Narrows, the 6th Sam Rivers mystery, and the latest non-fiction book, The Prism of the Wolf.

Weekly nature presentations are held on the front porch of Chik-Wauk Museum (in case of inclement weather, the presentations will be held indoors at the Nature Center) on Mondays at 1 pm. All are welcome.

Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
The Cook County Board of Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Room.
Duluth-based printmaker and teacher Kelly Dupre will host a two-hour creative workshop on relief and monoprint making on Wednesday, June 24 from 3 to 5 pm at the A. Paul & Carol Schaap Community Center.

The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall. Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics. The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.
Northern Lotus Meditation takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm, with instruction in meditation and room manners at 6:45 pm, at Two Birds Healing Arts Center in Grand Marais.
