Cook County Schools hosts a summer food program from June 9 to August 15. The program provides meals for all children 18 and younger. No registration or income requirements necessary.
Meals are Monday to Friday, breakfast from 8:30 to 9:15 am, and lunch from 11:15 am to noon. Meals must be eaten in the cafeteria.
The Cook County Market is held on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm at The Hub parking lot. The market features local arts and artists. More information is available on the Cook County Market Facebook page.
The Muffin Man, Kevin Kager, reads his favorite picture books on the beachside at Drury Lane Books each Saturday at 11 am (weather permitting) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. More information is available at drurylanebooks.com.
Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center hosts 400 years of fire and wind in the BWCAW with Lee E. Frelich on Sunday, July 27, from 2 to 3 pm. Frelich is the Director of the University of Minnesota Center for Forest Ecology. More information is available at gunflinthistory.org.

Bone Builders is a group exercise weight training program that was created for adults who are interested in preventing and reducing osteoporosis. Bone Builders meets at the Lutsen Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am.
A Community Mindfulness Night will be held at Two Birds Healing Arts Center on the last Monday of the month from 6 to 7 pm. July 28 will feature Yin Yoga & Self-Massage with Melanie Eldridge.

Beach Knitting with Dappled Fern Fibers is held on the Grand Marais Harbor Beach on Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7 pm and Thursday mornings from 10 to 11:30 am through August. This social knitting group is gently facilitated with thoughtful questions. Bring a simple project, all fiber arts welcome.
