Cook County Schools hosts a summer food program from June 9 to August 15. The program provides meals for all children 18 and younger. No registration or income requirements necessary.
Meals are Monday to Friday, breakfast from 8:30 to 9:15 am, and lunch from 11:15 am to noon. Meals must be eaten in the cafeteria.
A learn to play pickleball clinic will be held on Monday, June 30, from 5 to 6 pm at the YMCA tennis courts. Those interested are invited to join the Cook County Tennis and Pickleball Association (CCTPA) regular Monday night drop-in group from 6 to 8:30 pm. Registration is available here, but walk-ons are welcome too.
A Community Mindfulness Night will be held at Two Birds Healing Arts Center on the last Monday of the month from 6 to 7 pm. June 30 will feature Mindful Yoga & Guided Meditation with Lily Wilson.

Ecstatic Dance Grand Marais is hosting an event at the Cook County Community Center on Monday, June 30th at 7 PM. The event is a space for free-form movement without words. More information is available on their website, ecstaticdance.org, or their Facebook page.
Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
Beach Knitting with Dappled Fern Fibers is held on the Grand Marais Harbor Beach on Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7 pm and Thursday mornings from 10 to 11:30 am through August. This social knitting group is gently facilitated with thoughtful questions. Bring a simple project, all fiber arts welcome.

The City of Grand Marais Parks Department is hosting an open house at the park Rec Hall on Tuesday, July 1, from noon to 2 pm. Designers from LHB will be here, taking input on facility improvements, especially for the bath houses and the Rec Hall. Concept maps will be available for review.
