Hovland Arts Festival
The 2025 Hovland Arts Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6, at the Hovland Town Hall. More information is available on the Hovland Arts Festival Facebook page.
Open House Celebration
Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center will host an open house celebration on Saturday, July 5, from 11 am to 3 pm. July 5 marks two milestones: the 20th Anniversary of the Gunflint Trail Historical Society and the 15th birthday of Chik-Wauk. Sue Kerfoot will share the story of how the GTHS and the Chik-Wauk Museum came to be. Emma Adams will lead around the Chik-Wauk property afterwards.

The Muffin Man Children’s Story Hour
The Muffin Man, Kevin Kager, reads his favorite picture books on the beachside at Drury Lane Books each Saturday at 11 am (weather permitting) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. More information is available at drurylanebooks.com.
