Pump track volunteer work event

Northwoods Sustainable Housing - You Are Where You Live: How Healthy Is Your Home Air Quality?
Cook County Higher Education, in partnership with Northwoods Sustainable Housing, is hosting You Are Where You Live: How Healthy is Your Home Air Quality? on Tuesday, May 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at CCHE and Zoom. This session will explore how to assess your home environment to identify risks like radon, particulates, and fumes, and what can be done to reduce toxic exposures. Cook County West End Alanon
The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall. Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics. The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.
Northern Lotus Meditation
Northern Lotus Meditation takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm, with instruction in meditation and room manners at 6:45 pm, at Two Birds Healing Arts Center in Grand Marais.
Spring Blood Drive
Cook County is partnering with Memorial Blood Centers to host a community blood drive on Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22, at the Cook County Courthouse. Donors will check in at the courthouse lobby, and the blood drive bus will be parked outside. Community members can sign up in advance on the Memorial Blood Center website (sponsor code 4604).
