Tettegouche State Park hosts monthly art shows at the Visitor Center, and the August artist is Deborah Birkland. An opening reception for the show, titled Between Storm and Silence, will be held on Friday, August 7, from 7 to 8:30 pm.
The Cook County Historical Society leads Harbor History Walking Tours on Fridays from 7 to 8:30 pm (weather permitting). Interested participants can meet outside the History Museum and should be able to walk approximately a mile on uneven surfaces. More information at cookcountyhistory.org.
