Grand Portage Rendezvous Days will be held August 7 – 9.  Featuring music, dancing, games, and craft demonstrations at Grand Portage National Monument.

Cook County Market

Tori Finnish Marketplace & Music Festival

As You Like It

The Grand Marais Playhouse presents As You Like it, a Musical Adaptation of Shakespeare’s As You Like it. Performances this week are Friday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts.

Nature Presentation Interactions at Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center

The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium is hitting the road again for the annual Dark Sky Caravan.

  • Tuesday, August 11 from 8 to 10 pm at Split Rock Lighthouse
  • Wednesday, August 12 from 8 to 11 pm at Tettegouche State Park
  • Thursday, August 13 from 8 to 11 pm at North House Folk School
  • Friday, August 14 from 7 to 11 pm at the Schaap Community Center
  • Saturday, August 15 from 6:30 to 10:30 pm at Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center
