Northern Lotus Meditation takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm, with instruction in meditation and room manners at 6:45 pm, at Two Birds Healing Arts Center in Grand Marais.
The Grand Marais Farmer’s Market is held on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 pm at the Cook County Community Center Parking Lot.
The Finland Farmers Market is held on Thursdays from 5 to 6:30 pm at the Clair Nelson Center pavilions.

The Cook County Historical Society presents “Rocky’s Lighthouse Adventure” Book Reading and Craft Hour, with local author Deborah Winchell on Saturday, July 25, from 11 am to noon at the Cook County History Museum. More information at cookcountyhistory.org.
The Muffin Man, Kevin Kager, reads his favorite picture on the beachside by Drury Lane Books on Saturdays at 11 am.
The Grand Marais Garden Club presents its annual flower show Saturday, July 25th at the Cook County Community Center from noon until 4pm. This year’s theme is Nursery Rhymes in Bloom. All are welcome to attend.
Weekly nature presentations are held on the front porch of Chik-Wauk Museum (in case of inclement weather, the presentations will be held indoors at the Nature Center) on Mondays at 1 pm. All are welcome.
