The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall. Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics. The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.

Northern Lotus Meditation takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm, with instruction in meditation and room manners at 6:45 pm, at Two Birds Healing Arts Center in Grand Marais.
Storytime at the Grand Marais Library
Storytime at the Grand Marais Public Library takes place on select Thursdays throughout the fall at 10:30 AM. The program is specifically geared toward preschool-aged children.

Library Friends of Cook County Invite the Community to Celebrate Computer Upgrades at the Grand Marais Public Library
Library Friends of Cook County invites the community to help celebrate upgrades to nine computers at the Grand Marais Public Library, including seven terminals for computing and internet use, plus two catalog access stations.
The “ribbon-cutting” will take place on Friday, November 20, from 10 to 11:30 am at the library.

The American Legion Unit 413 hosts BINGO Friday, November 20th at Up Yonder, 5-7 pm. All are welcome.
Museum by Candlelight Volunteer Decorating Day
The Cook County Historical Society is looking for volunteers to help decorate the History Museum for the 1st annual Museum by Candlelight event (November 28 from 5 to 7 pm). Volunteers are needed anytime between 10 am and 4 pm on Saturday, November 21, to assist with putting up decorations and crafting DIY lanterns to prepare for the festivities.
