North Shore Health will host an Artists’ Reception celebrating the June- September art and artists on Tuesday, September 29, from 4:00–5:15 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room and Lobby. Storytelling from the Back Roads of Cook County will take place on Saturday, October 3, from 2 to 4 pm at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts. The collaborative event is hosted by the Historical Alliance of Cook County (Cook County Historical Society, Gunflint Trail Historical Society, Schroeder Historical Society, and Tofte Historical Society) and will feature speakers from each participating organization sharing stories of local lore and history.
