Reframe Aging Monthly Roundtable
Care Partners of Cook County hosts a reframe aging monthly roundtable on the third Monday of each month from 12:15 to 1:45 pm at The Hub. A specially-selected book of the month serves as a springboard for the discussion. More information is available at carepartnersofcookcounty.org.
Nature Presentation Interactions at Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center
Weekly nature presentations are held on the front porch of Chik-Wauk Museum (in case of inclement weather, the presentations will be held indoors at the Nature Center) on Mondays at 1 pm. All are welcome.

Taconite Harbor Advisory Comm. Public Open House
The Taconite Harbor Advisory Committee will be hosting a public open house on Monday, June 15, from 4 to 7 pm at the Schroeder Town Hall. They will share information about the process, community visions for the future of the Taconite Harbor Property, as well as site conditions, opportunities, and next steps. Community members will have an opportunity to share input.
The Advisory Committee is working with the Cook County EDA and Stantec to evaluate site conditions, including land, infrastructure, and environmental factors, to guide future reuse of Taconite Harbor
Grief Group
Care Partners of Cook County is hosting a grief group on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Care Partners office from 5 to 6:30 pm. Care Partners Executive Director Julie Wilson will facilitate the gatherings. No registration is required. More information at carepartnersofcookcounty.org.

Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
Age Friendly Celebration and Updates - Hovland
The Cook County Age Friendly Initiative is hosting a series of information and celebration gatherings throughout Cook County.
Wednesday, June 10, at 10:30 am at the Cook County YMCA.
Tuesday, June 16, at 10:30 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hovland
Thursday, June 18, at 10:30 am at the Schaap Community Center.
Minnesota Lumberjacks: Legends and Lore
The Grand Marais Public Library will host author and folklorist Chad Lewis for a special presentation, “Minnesota Lumberjacks: Legends and Lore,” on Tuesday, June 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
Lutsen Township meeting
The Lutsen Township board meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Lutsen Town Hall at 7 pm. More information at lutsentownship.com.
Mobile Crisis Response Open House
Cook County Public Health and Human Services, in collaboration with First Call for Help, is hosting an open house to share information on mobile crisis response in Cook County as the program transitions over to First Call for Help this Fall. The open house will be held on Wednesday, June 17, from 3:30 to 5 pm at the Cook County Community Center.
Cook County West End Alanon
The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall. Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics. The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.
