Trout Derby
The Cook County Ridge Riders host the annual Trout Derby on Saturday, March 1 on Gunflint Lake. Registration opens at 9 am and all fish must be turned in by 2 pm. More information is available on the Cook County Snowmobile Club-Ridge Riders Facebook page.
Cook County Winter Market
The Cook County Winter Market with local artists and artisans will be held on Saturday, March 1 from 10 am to 4 pm at The Hub.
Saturday Fiber Circle
Dappled Fern Fibers hosts a Saturday Fiber Circle from 10 to 11:30 am. Knitting, crocheting, spinning darning, embroidery, cross stitching, and all other fiber arts are welcome.
Grand Marais Film Society - March Screening
The Grand Marais Film Society will be showing the the biggest musical of 2024 on Saturday, March 1 at 4 pm at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts. More information is available in the Grand Marais Film Society Facebook group.
Turkish Carpet Show
A Turkish Carpet Show will take place on Sunday, March 2 at 2 pm at the Cook County Community Center. Fatih, a carpet dealer from Turkey is here with hundreds of carpets from his family’s collection and will teach everyone about the many different types of carpets. All are welcome.
