The West End Alanon family Group meets each Wednesday at 7 pm at the Lutsen Town Hall. Alanon is a group that supports friends and family members of alcoholics. The group welcomes anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member who has a problem with alcohol.
Dancing at the Colvill Town Hall takes place every Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. Line, waltz, texas 2-step, swing polka, and more with a volunteer instructor. University of Minnesota Extension’s “Head to the Kitchen” workshop will be held at the Cook County Community Center of Friday, March 22 from 1 to 4:30 pm. The workshop is designed for entry-level food business participants such as small- to mid-scale farmers and growers, food producers and processors, food entrepreneurs, and cottage food producers to gain critical food safety knowledge.
The food business options covered in this workshop are cottage foods, Product of the Farm, Retail Food Handler, and Wholesale Food Processor/Manufacturer.
