The Grand Marais American Legion Auxiliary meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 5:30-6:30 PM at Birch Terrace Supper Club.
Northwoods Food Project and Cook County Extension organize the Thursday local foods market. The local food market takes place on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 pm at the Cook County Community Center Parking Lot. More information is available on the Thursday Local Food Market Facebook page.

Long-time story reader Kevin Kager hosts Children’s Story Hour outside Drury Lane Books on Saturdays at 11 am.
Cook County Historical Society hosts Harbor History Tours on Saturday afternoons at 1 pm. Weather permitting, the tour begins at the History Museum (8 South Broadway Ave, Grand Marais) and you will walk down to the Coast Guard Station with a tour guide. Visible relics of the past will be discussed and you will hear stories of this small harbor and community.
*Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center hosts a presentation from DNR Conservation Officer Mary Manning on Sunday, July 24 from 2-3 pm.
Mary Manning is part of the law enforcement division of the Department of Natural Resources and is tasked with enforcement of state laws on game and fish, recreational vehicle, wetlands and waters, invasive species, and wildland fire, among others…and assist with safety training and education classes.
Boreal Community Media is offering community tech support events twice a week at The Hub (Senior Center) throughout the summer. Walk-in events will take place on:
