North House Folk School hosts First Fridays, a monthly series of community gatherings on campus. Meet on the Commons and the Blue Building each month for activities, speakers, dancing, games, and more at 5:30 pm. More information is available at northhouse.org.

The Grand Marais Playhouse presents As You Like it, a Musical Adaptation of Shakespeare’s As You Like it. Performances this week are Friday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts.
Chik-Wauk Nature Center hosts Mark Zimmer, aka The Barefoot Traveler, for a presentation on traveling to and detailing the BWCA’s maintained areas on Sunday, August 9, at 2 pm. More information at gunflinthistory.org.
