Long-time story reader Kevin Kager hosts Children’s Story Hour outside Drury Lane Books on Saturdays at 11 am.
Cook County Historical Society hosts Harbor History Tours on Saturday afternoons at 1 pm. Weather permitting, the tour begins at the History Museum (8 South Broadway Ave, Grand Marais) and you will walk down to the Coast Guard Station with a tour guide. Visible relics of the past will be discussed and you will hear stories of this small harbor and community.
*Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Through Our Hands VI, a gallery exhibition featuring The Northwoods Fiber Guild, is on display at the Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery through Sunday, July 17. JHP gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday – Saturday 10-4, Sunday 1-4, and closed Tuesdays.
Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center hosts a presentation with artist Betsy Bowen on Sunday, July 17 from 2-3 pm. Betsy will show her process of illustrating picture books and more.
Boreal Community Media is offering community tech support events twice a week at The Hub (Senior Center) throughout the summer. Walk-in events will take place on:
