The Muffin Man, Kevin Kager, reads his favorite picture books on the beachside by Drury Lane Books on Saturdays at 11 am.
Chik-Wauk Nature Center hosts Jo Swanson for a presentation, Many Hands, One Forest: Caring for the Superior National Forest, on Sunday, August 30, from 2 to 3 pm. Jo is the Executive Director of the nonprofit Friends of the Superior National Forest.

Community Mindfulness Nights are held at Two Birds Healing Arts Center on the last Monday of each month from 6 to 7:30 pm. August 31 will feature Movement for Whole Body Connection with Margaret Johnson.
