The Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery present Natural Gestures
The Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery is pleased to present Natural Gestures, a solo exhibition by Emily Donovan, until July 12
Drawing inspiration from the landscape, Donovan utilizes historical methods to forage and procure natural pigments from plants and insects, blending traditional craft with a modern approach to batik.
Grand Marais Arts Festival

Scott Krohn - Colored Pencil Workshop
Twin Cities artist Scott Krohn will be the Gunflint Trail Historical Society artist-in-residence July 7 to 16. An event to meet Scott, view a mini-exhibit of his work, and watch a live demonstration will be held on Sunday, July 12, from 11 am to 1 pm at the A. Paul & Carol Schaap Community Center.

July GTHS Membership Meeting – Gunflint Trail Remembrance Tribute
The July Gunflint Trail Historical Society meeting will be held on Monday, July 13, at 1 pm at the A. Paul & Carol Schaap Community Center (7401 Gunflint Trail GTVFD Hall #1). The Gunflint Trail Historical Society takes time during the July meeting to remember those with whom we shared our passion for the Gunflint Trail. Nature Presentation Interactions at Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center
Weekly nature presentations are held on the front porch of Chik-Wauk Museum (in case of inclement weather, the presentations will be held indoors at the Nature Center) on Mondays at 1 pm. All are welcome.

Schroeder Township meeting

Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
The Cook County Board of Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Room.
Happy Hikers
The Happy Hikers organize a weekly hike on Tuesdays at 9 am. The July 14 hike will be the Centennial Trail.
